Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is nothing special, just okay in terms of rooms, but clean. It's below the standard of a budget hotel, and I'd rate it as a 3-star accommodation. The location is very far from access and dining, and the bathroom isn't equipped for easy tub access.
Upon arrival, the room was freezing as the radiator was on, expecting it to warm up later. The hotel charges an additional £60 for rooms opposite each other.
The hotel feels like a corporate setting in an attached low ceiling annexe, making the room dark with a view of bins and shipping containers. However, the helpful staff and convenient location compensate for the room's shortcomings.
The hotel offers a convenient location for exploring Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds, but the rooms are in need of refurbishment and cleaning. The service, although helpful in emergencies, lacked professionalism. The dining options were varied, and the facilities were decent overall.
I found the hotel to be a mixed experience. While the rooms were simple and tidy, some areas were worn and in need of attention. The service, especially from the bar staff, was very nice and polite. The location, despite being in the countryside with outdoor activities, wasn't my top choice due to some drawbacks. The dining experience was good overall, with helpful and kind staff. The facilities were decent, but there were a few issues that affected my stay.
